            Delaplains "First Lessons in Beekeeping" 

$15 Fee - if you do not purchase the book, still includes lunch

1) We break down a year in beekeeping for you

2) You will have a chance to win one of two complete Hive Kits in a drawing

    (no purchase necessary) 

3) Lots of drawings for great doors prizes too!

Michael Bush will be in Pittsburg, Kansas March 17th for an all day speaking engagement with lots of beekeeping information for the novice through advanced beekeeper. Mr. Bush is a veteran beekeeper and an internationally acclaimed author of several beekeeping instruction books. His publication "The Practical Beekeeper" has been translated and published in several languages.

 

Mr. Bush travels the USA sharing his knowledge of beekeeping and his many unique insights into keeping healthy bees. Some of the topics that he plans to discuss at this event include: Four Simple Steps to Healthier Bees, Lazy Beekeeping, Observation Hives, Common Issues, and Bee Math and Queen Spotting. There may be more areas he will touch on, too. There will be opportunities to ask questions, so be writing them down. 

The first part of the program will be at 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Participants may leave to get lunch on their own. The second half of the program will begin at 2:00 pm and run through 5:00 pm. 

 

There will be courtesy coffee and water available in the lobby. Please do not eat or drink in the auditorium.

Heartland Beekeeping Association of SE Kansas is offering a One-Day Beginner Beekeepers Clinic at Yates Hall on Pittsburg State University campus, Pittsburg, KS. 9:00 am - 4:30 pm, with doors open for Registration at 8:00 am.  

$25 fee covers textbook, lunch on site, snacks and beverages. Pay at the Door.
